Now that's determination
A DRUG dealer who swallowed packages of heroin then refused to go to the loo for 16 DAYS was jailed yesterday.
Damien Ankrah, 28, would not eat after being locked up in a cell while drug cops waited for nature to take its course.
Eventually he "deposited" five condoms containing heroin with a street value of £3,200, Swansea Crown Court heard.
Jim Davis, defending, said Ankrah was a man of "some determination".
Sentencing him to 52 months, Judge Peter Heywood said he had put his own life at risk.
Ankrah, of Liverpool, admitted possession with intent to supply.

It all worked out for the drug cops in the end.
SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
