Arrest Made In Carjacking Of Newspaper Carriers
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―Sacramento Police have identified the suspect wanted for allegedly carjacking of a couple while they were delivering newspapers early this morning.
Jonathan Hann, 22, was arrested hours after crashing the car he allegedly took from a couple who were delivering Sacramento Bee newspapers early this morning.
The two victims were delivering the Sacrament Bee newspaper when, police say, the suspect pistol-whipped the man and drove off in the couple's car. He eventually crashed the car on 24th Street just south of Florin Road. Police searched the area, but did not find the suspect.
Hann eventually called for help, and was taken to a local hospital where police connected him to the carjacking.
