Man fights with sister, accidentally shoots his mother. Oh man you are SO grounded
Police: Man accidentally shoots mother during fight with sister :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Chicago Crime
A man is in custody after he allegedly accidentally shot his mother in the leg during a Wednesday night fight with his sister in the Southwest Side’s Marquette Park community.
A 26-year-old man was arguing with his sister in the 6700 block of South Maplewood Avenue about 10:30 p.m. When the altercation became physical, he went into his bedroom and retrieved a handgun, according to police.
The siblings’ mother intervened, but her son allegedly accidentally shot her in the upper leg during the struggle, police said.
The 47-year-old mother was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. Her daughter was not injured.
Her son was taken into custody, but no charges have been filed as of early Thursday, police said. Wentworth Area detectives said they were notified, but Chicago Lawn District police are investigating."Like" us on facebook! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Offic...93147194083228

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
