Woman calls 911 to report herself as drunk driver
(AP) – 19 hours ago
NEILSVILLE, Wis. — The call came into the 911 dispatcher: "I don't want to hurt anybody. I'm drunk." And with that, Mary Strey, 49, of Granton, reported herself as a drunken driver about three miles northeast of Neilsville in central Wisconsin.

I heard this on the early morning news. At least she was smart enough to know she couldn't drive, too bad she didn't realize it earlier and call a cab

LOL - We had a DUI driver jump in the net the other day, too... Teenager about 19 years old.
What originally caught my eye was that his emergency flashers were on, and he was only going about 20MPH in a 55MPH zone, so everyone was passing him (and in some cases, almost running over him).
Only after that did we turn around to follow him, and noticed a definite instability whenever he had to negotiate a curve (even at 20MPH).
It was like him waving his arms out the window at us and shouting, "LOOK AT ME, I'M DRUNK!!!"

Iron Head had one not to long ago that when asked how much he had to drink just said "enough". The quote went in the report and he went to jail for felony DUI

I've read about mentally ill people who say they can't stop doing something (like cleaning, driving or walking) unless someone asks them to stop nicely - But I never actually heard one before now. So I wonder if her call was really alcohol-induced or if it goes deeper than that

According to a police report for the City of Oxford Police Department in Ohio, a Halloween reveler, James Miller of Cincinnati, found himself in a scary situation and was arrested for Driving Under the Influence or as they say in Ohio OVI while disguised as a DUI portable alcohol breath test device. He was observed driving the wrong way out of the entrance to a one way street. Officers placed him under arrest for DUI. Officer found what was left of a case of bud light and mutliple Ohio ID's in his wallet. Mr. Miller is 20 years old.
