I used to tell my trainees and other young people that I had a chance to mentor.....that there are mistakes for which you cannot afford to pay....from which you cannot recover.
I know they probably didn't mean to cause such harm....but they didn't think....and now they are going to pay with their careers and one with his freedom.

I finally got to see the video, an email from our chief to everyone, saw it on my iphone, since my MDT won't play it.........
He made it a point to advise everyone to watch this especially our younger officers. It does HAMMER home a point and like Car4 advised some things you cannot take back.

For tmes when I do have to speed I don't hesitate to use my lights and siren. Much rather have to tell why I did then why I didn't. This is an unfortunate example of how horsing around can get out of hand and fast. I'm sorry for the parents of the 2 kids that lost their lives.
