No More Letters To Santa?
Because of a sexual predator, the US Postal Service will no longer accept letters to Santa Clause.............

What is your opinion? Should the USPS stop this tradtion or not?

The stupid post office could run a free background check on the volunteers to catch the obvious registered sex offenders.
I could see how a pedaphile might get fixated on a child he answered a letter from, but it seems to me that if they had just run a cursory background check, it would catch most of them.
Maybe the Santa Claus House or the volunteers could form a organization and register a DBA of "Santa" - then the post office would probably have to deliver the letters despite their paranoia.

Problem is it is a relatively easy fix, so it probably won't be done. Just another way to take a child's joy out of Christmas!
