T-Shirt Glorifying Cop Killer
This is about the guy who assassinated a Seattle cop a few weeks ago.
The Blotter | Family of alleged cop-killer 'horrified' by local band's T-shirt | Seattle Times Newspaper
When the mother of murder suspect Christopher Monfort and other relatives learned today of a T-shirt featuring an image of the 41-year-old man, blood spatter and a Seattle police badge - all underneath the words "Deliver us From Evil" - they were angry
...
Monfort could potentially face the death penalty for allegedly killing Seattle police Officer Timothy Brenton on Oct. 31. Monfort remains at Harborview Medical Center after being shot by police. His family says he is paralyzed.
A local punk band created the T-shirt because "we like this guy and back his actions," according to a Web site, which is selling the shirts for $13.

Stupid freaking idiots. That punk band must be on drugs or something. "Deliver us from evil" They have that backwards. They are the evil ones. Trying to capitalize on the murder of someone, let alone one of Seattle's finest, is absolutely DISGUSTING!

What the hell is that symbol next to Ofc Breton's head and shoulder, some sort of gang sign?
I suspect that the members of this band and the individual that printed these shirts are involved in other sinister things and should bear close scrutiny for their actions.
Nice to see that the family of the accused is against and concerned about the effects that this might have on the families of the officers involved. Don't see that too often.

I would like to see the family sue for emotional damages on that one. That is God awful classless.

The band here has withdrawn their support for this shirt, which was created by a former band member who now lives in Southern California.I'm your huckleberry...

In short, I was explaining how the band needed a collective wood shampoo for re-education purposes and also see if these guys want to make known their addresses so when they call 911 for a home invasion, we know to make sure we take our time to make the right approach to the address, coordinate with units a few blocks away, plan out the best tactical way to set up, wait for the WC, call SWAT, realize we don't have a SWAT, send the rook to get donuts, send rook to go back to the donut shop because he forgot that the Captain likes the sugar sprinkles, then we drive very loudly with lights and sirens past the location a few times to let the perps know we're there, then we stage again somewhere a few blocks away... then it's time for shift change so we go home.

If you can, find a photo of these guys.
Then you will understand why the members who are still local to Seattle backstepped at 100mph from the tard who made the T-shirt from the relative safety of So Cal.I'm your huckleberry...

The band doesn't seem to be involved, from posts. Just a dumbass former member...
But I've got a simpler idea. Beating 'em up, hassling 'em... Nah. Sue his ass. Every dime he made, plus damages, to go to the cop's family or Officer Down or somewhere else appropriate. Hit 'em where it hurts, rather than simply hitting 'em.Voting against incumbents until we get a Congress that does its job.

Emotional distress. Copyright violation for the use of the badge. Hey, if the ambulance chasers can find reasons to sue a cop -- get one to figure out how the kid's family can sue the guy.

I agree the shirt is in poor taste and the kid needs his ass kicked.
However, the badge is public property and we are public figures. I don't see a lawsuit being a success.I'm your huckleberry...
