A North Carolina man is behind bars in Arkansas tonight for allegedly impersonating a police officer to spy on his wife. Pine Bluff police made the arrest this afternoon.
Right now, 32-year old, Thomas Gibson of North Carolina is in the Jefferson County jail facing a couple of charges related to doing surveillance on his wife in Pine Bluff.
Police arrested him for terroristic threatening for allegedly making comments about his wife and her family here in Arkansas. Lt. Bob Rawlinson tell us he is also charged with impersonating a police officer for using a telephone to present himself as a cop to rental businesses in and around Pine Bluff.
"We do believe that he was trying to present himself as a police officer to be able to do some type of undercover investigation here in town to where he would be able to obtain a rental property or something so he could watch his wife," Rawlinson said.
Gibson's wife was unharmed from the alleged surveillance and police aren't speculating on what his intentions were in the first place. Jefferson county prosecutor could file more charges on Monday.

Good!

A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.

What a nut-job. Good to see he's off the streets.
