LOL, that's funny...
If I ever win the "big one", the first thing I'm going to do is sign it and make a photocopy of the ticket, including the serial number, put one copy in a safe or deposit box and pack one in my bag in case something happens to the original on my way to Austin - It would be very easy to prove ownership with a photocopy of the lengthy random serial numbers they use.
