Woman Arrested After Theft of Ambulance
Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman looking for her ex-boyfriend stole an ambulance and led troopers on a 50-mile chase from Shawnee to Del City.
Troopers say 28-year-old Mindy Jones was at the hospital for a blood test after she was arrested following for driving under the influence and hit-and-run. Officers say she ran from the hospital and drove away in the ambulance about 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Just saw that on the news. Hilarious and a stroke of genius that they allowed her to be interviewed after being arrested (she's in handcuffs on the news) because she admits to the crime on the news cameras. Perfect idiot.

There was a good one like that a few years ago up here. Guy got cited by the the SO for being under the influence of meth, an hour later he was cited again by a local PD. Guy was pissed because he was being "harrassed" so he snuck into the city's fire department and made off with a brand new ambulance (less then 300 miles on it) and off he went across two counties. They came by us chasing him. It was funny listing to the radio as he went by. He was screaming for an airplane to meet him cause the CIA was after him etc. He ended up getting spiked and totaling the ambulance. After that a county wide policy went into effect. Anyone under the influence WILL BE BOOKED INTO JAIL!!!
