But I'm tryin' Ringo.
I'm tryin'...real hard...to be the shepherd.

I thought this part was interesting:
Julie Eugley, one of King's personal assistants, told the Bangor Daily News that the Kings were approached about giving $13,000. But Stephen King thought the number 13 was a bit unlucky, so the couple pitched in $12,999 instead.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."

-General Omar Bradley, United States Army
