I just posted a posting on my site less than 20 hours ago wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and reminding everyone to stay vigilant because the terrorists know how important of a holiday this is to America. Well this is a prime example.
Obviously TSA is letting stuff go by. That would explain how I flew on 3 different flights with a large knife in my carry-on (unknowingly) and it wasn't found until my 4th flight. I had forgotten I'd put it in a side pouch I never use. I literally went through 3 different tsa checkpoints in a 2 week period with it in there. I was upset with myself for leaving it in there, but more pissed it took 4 times to find it. So I'm sure this scum bag Nigerian terrorist could easily sneak what he needed past TSA.
Now lets see if the F.B.I. tries to put a "Lone Terrorist with no backing to Al-Qaida" spin on this. Just like they tried with the Fort Hood deal. Recently Fox News has found out all along that Hassan was communicating about the massacre for months with terrorists in Pakistan.

The flight originated in Lagos, Nigeria and came to Detroit via Amsterdam. The dipstick tried to ignite a sophisticated EXPLOSIVE DEVICE but it malfunctioned. It is reported that the passangers then jumped this douche and subdued him.
Lots of questions about this tonight but Rep. Peter King (House Intelligence Committee) identified the guy as an Al Quaida operative who is well known to our folks.
Is he the only one...or are there more out there?

Well that figures. Nigeria via Amsterdam. No wonder there was terrorism.

They're a private company and this event actually surprises me. The screeners in AMS are always very thorough and they have people interviewing every passenger before entering the gate area. Each flight to the US is screened at the individual gate, not at a big checkpoint like we have here.
That being said, I doubt he'll be using his return ticket to LOS in JanuaryAlpha Phi Sigma Alum - Alpha Delta Chapter

Remember, the most dangerous weapon on an airplane is present in every seatback magazine holder.

Ya I did think they were smart enough to leave passenger planes alone. I think most good American men have the same view as most of us on here...

What would that be? The only weapons I can think of is the telephone headset or my wife's purse

I heard that the FAA was enacting a rule to keep everyone seated on the last one hour of the plane ride - Good luck enforcing that on a plane that might have 30 old people who have to go pee every 10 minutes.
