Police: Brook Park Trucker Watching Porn At Time Of Fatal Crash
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- New York State Police say a truck driver from Ohio was watching pornography on his laptop when his rig struck a disabled car on the New York State Thruway last month, killing the driver.
Thomas Wallace of Brook Park, Ohio, is charged with second-degree manslaughter in the death of 33-year-old Julie Stratton, a mother of two from Snyder, near Buffalo.

I have stopped a foriegn driver who was watching porn on his laptop. He just pulled the screen down when he saw us but it was still running when you flipped the screen up.
Another wagon driver had reported him.
Watching stuff on their laptops seems to be a problem with foreign wagon drivers here.
They are easily distracted

Wow. Too bad her car wouldn't have made it to the next exit. Parking on the side of the interstate is too dangerous anymore. I'm sure the truck driver meant no harm, but I bet he is wishing a 1,000 X that he'd not made that decision.
I wouldn't be watching porn while driving, but we have all been guilty of looking at a MDT while going down the road, whether it be the map portion, run a tag while moving, or re-checking an address. It only takes a second to veer out of your lane.
Now, there are 2 kids without a mommy. How sad.
