Offender Fresh from Prison Pleads Guilty to Rape
PHOENIX -- A 30-year-old man has pleaded guilty to kidnapping and raping two young girls the day he was released from prison.
It happened on Aug. 6, 2009. Salvador Medina forced his way into a car and kidnapped two 15-year-old girls and an 11-year-old girl. He forced them to drive to another location, holding them hostage for four hours.
During that time, he raped the two older girls. Later that same day, he robbed a woman by threatening to hurt her 3-year-old child. Phoenix Police arrested him and Medina confessed.
Medina had just been released from prison and was on parole. He cut off his ankle monitoring device after his release.
(That house arrest/monitoring thing seems to be working quite well.)

Yeah, had something similar last week. Of course, the DA doesn't like the case because the victim "is not of good character".
