Man killed by dogs after saving them from death
LJUBLJANA, Slovenia - A Slovenian who saved his three dogs from being put down for attacking humans was himself mauled to death by them, police said on Wednesday.
“Three dogs bit their 52-year-old owner to death in Ljubljana yesterday,” police spokeswoman Maja Adlesic said.
Four years ago, the three bullmastiffs attacked and seriously injured a passer-by outside their owner’s house. They spent years in custody pending legal hearings, but when one of them attacked a dog handler, authorities ordered them to be put down.

Even as a dog lover and one who believes a lot of dogs can be rehabilitated...I would not take 3 very large dogs into my house knowing their history. If I felt the need to save them...a safe fenced enclosure that I could ensure my safety with locked areas for them in order to clean/feed/etc...so that I would not be in the same area ever with them...but even then...tough choice. Too many things can go wrong.

Sorry ma'am, but once a dog attacks a person it needs to be put down quickly with a bullet behind the ear, not fenced.

My dear Maclean...If you will note...I did say I wouldnt take them into my house...and I did say that too many things could go wrong with the fence solution if one were to take it. Thats pretty harsh for me you know
And I do agree that once they have killed a human being then things are most likely not going to be fixed. I might not have expressed myself well.
