Woman threatens contractor with a shotgun
An Eden Prairie woman is accused of threatening a contractor with a shotgun when he came to remove a diseased tree in her backyard.
Police said Kimberly Ann Sisak, 49, received many letters from the City of Eden Prairie on the removal of a diseased tree in her backyard, saying she had until Jan. 18 to remove the tree or the city would hire a contractor.
According to the charges, when a contractor came to remove the tree on or about Feb. 2, Sisak approached the man while carrying a shotgun. She allegedly told him to leave and followed him as he left, still holding the shotgun.

Good for her. If she owns the property, she should be able to decide whether or not the tree stays. If she is living there, owner or not, she has the right to keep people from trespassing. The gov't at all levels needs to start getting their noses out of peoples buisness

Currently the emerald ash borer is destroying trees all over the state and the city of St. Paul is destroying 1,100 ash trees throughout the city to prevent the ash borer numbers from growing.
I can only assumed that Eden Prairie is doing the same thing, and this is likely related. Just a guess though. No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends - John 15:13
