School shooting in Alabama
Fox news just broke a story of a middle school shooting in Madison, AL.
All I've heard thus far is the police have one in custody, and there is a 15 yr old shot in the head.No one has greater love than this, to lay down ones life for ones friends - John 15:13

MADISON, AL - Police will hold a news conference at 3:00pm to discuss details of a shooting at Discovery Middle School in Madison, Alabama.
The news conference will be held at Madison Fire Station 2, which is just across the street from the school.
LaTisha King, with Madison City Schools, says a ninth grade student shot another ninth grade student. The shooting victim was rushed to Huntsville Hospital by ambulance. The alleged shooter is in custody.
No other students or faculty members were hurt.

As of 4:30PM local time, the student was still in critical condition at Huntsville Hospital. An update is scheduled later in the evening. School resource officer was on site and fire/ems response was almost immediate....within 2 minutes. The fire station is across the street. Lets hope the student recovers!
This happened in the same county where I live & work.

Discovery Middle School student Todd Brown was fatally shot Friday during a class change.MADISON, AL -- The future of a Discovery Middle School student charged in the shooting death of a fellow classmate will be determined Monday at 1:30 p.m. when he goes before a judge to determine if he should be charged as an adult.
