Arkansas Highway Police Discover Large Marijuana Haul

Alma (AP) - Arkansas Highway Police say they seized a haul of more than a ton of marijuana during a truck inspection at Alma. The tractor-trailer was stopped Saturday at a highway police station. The truck was carrying a load of produce, but highway police also found bundles containing 2,318 pounds of marijuana.
The agency says the marijuana had a street value of $3.4 million.The truck driver, 34-year-old Stacy Johnson of Elizabeth City,North Carolina, and the owner, 31-year-old Levy Ford the Third of Baltimore, were arrested for possession with intent to deliver.
