Truckload of marijuana goes up in smoke
Feb. 21 (UPI) -- A truckload of confiscated marijuana that could be worth more than $1 million disappeared somewhere between Memphis and Louisville, Ky., sources say.
The more than 1,700 pounds of pot went missing during a controlled drug delivery going from Memphis to Louisville, The Memphis Commercial-Appeal reported Sunday.
Sources said the officers saw several vehicles pull up to the tractor-trailer parked in Louisville, leave, come back, then leave again.
When they checked the contents of the truck it was empty, the sources said.

I can only imagine the sick feeling the first officer got when he/she looked in the back of that truck.

I was kind of wondering the same thing. Sure, a car pulling up and leaving could mean nothing, but when the same car comes back a second time and leaves again? I'd be pulling that thing over a few blocks away. (Unless, of course, in an effort to keep things under wraps they were instructed not to interfere...hopefully that's the case because then the missing pot is on whoever issued that order.)
