MIAMI TWP., Ohio -- Miami Township police said they are not laughing at what a man and his granddaughter thought would be a simple prank.Officers said they received a report that a man driving a green minivan near the Dayton Mall around 1:20 Sunday afternoon was being held hostage. A short time later, they spotted the vehicle on State Route 725 and learned that the driver was not being held as a hostage."The grandfather essentially told the granddaughter it would be funny if she held a bb gun to his head as he drove down the road," Sgt. William Kelly of the Miami Township Police Department said.
