Teen who shot dog to attend concert
ST. ALBANS, W.Va.--A St. Albans High School senior will spend four weekends in jails for killing his neighbor's German shepherd with a bow and arrow.
But in the case of 18-year-old Charles Wiant, Kanawha Circuit Judge James Stucky agreed to a sentencing arrangement that will allow him to attend the Hank Williams Jr. concert at the Charleston Civic Center on April 2. Wiant's lawyer, Bill Forbes, explained that Wiant's girlfriend already has spent a lot of money on the tickets.

What part of PUNISHMENT don't they understand

delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly
promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which
holds forth the proposition that it is entirely
possible to pick up a turd by the clean end!'

They ought to make him go to the concert with a couple of officers and a giant sign he has to wear saying I maliciously murdered my neighbors dog with a bow and arrow and the judge let me out of jail to go to the concert with this girl beside me.
The sign is to make him not want to go, the sign also hopefully ruins his date and any chance he has, and the officers are to make sure he keeps the sign on, doesn't have a good time, doesn't make it anywhere with the girl, and of course so the officers could enjoy the concert.
Hell I'll bet one better, anybody have a personal connection to Hank Williams JR? Wouldn't it be just so cool if Hank Williams knew about this and publicly embaressed him at the concert? Maybe got up and identified the kid, got the kid to stand up so security could see him, then told everybody what he did and that he wasn't welcome at his concert.

For Godsake, we would hate to inconvience a criminal by having him serve his damn sentence. I'm sure the dog planned on being alive for that weekend. Being dead has got to be an inconvience.

How about the other part of his deal where the felony charge was dismissed so he can still enter the military?

It would have been worth it to try and contact Hanks crew and let them know of the teens desire to attend is concert and what he had done. Ol hank might have had some issue with it.
