The European Union has declared travelling a human right, and is launching a scheme to subsidize vacations with taxpayers' dollars for those too poor to afford their own trips.

Damn, my employer won't give paid vacation for two years after hire date. I should have just moved to Europe. Then again, most of their countries are each the size of the smaller eastern US states. Not a long trip to get out of the country.

No, it's the overworked folks collecting unemployment out there who need a break. I mean, so many of them are stuck in disadvantaged neighborhoods, and spend so much time and effort in looking for work...
They deserve at least a week... maybe two!... at the beach. I hear they're nice places to go; don't know since I can't afford the trip.Voting against incumbents until we get a Congress that does its job.

While it's true that the right to unrestricted interstate travel is indeed a right, there is nothing that says that we have to pay for the vacations of others who can't afford them. Ugh.
