British Army Sniper sets new record
Saw this in the Sunday Times this morning, impressive shooting to say the least.
Times Online
When you see he took the shots only 6 weeks after breaking both arms, you have to doff your cap to Cpl Harrison.
A common mistake made when trying to come up with a totally foolproof design is to completely underestimate the innate ingenuity of fools.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you but it's still there on my list of options, so are you coming quietly.........?

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

The Corporal would probably have made a damn fine U.S. Marine.

Too bad he was born on the wrong side of the pond.

The previous record was held by a Canadian team, and before that a US Marine.
Very nice shot!
I believe the longest shot with a 7.62 weapon belongs to the US Army.I'm your huckleberry...

The Military Channel did a show on the Canadian team that held the longest shot previously, and they featured two US Army snipers that held the longest 7.62 shot and the fastest 7.62 shot.
The US Army guys were able to repeat their shots in front of their former instructors. Amazing!I'm your huckleberry...
