Mall Easter Bunny punches kid's mother in the head
The Easter Bunny was not the lovable cuddly rabbit everyone has come to know this weekend at Edison Mall in Fort Myers.
This Easter Bunny, also known as Arthur McClure, 22, stands accused of punching a woman in the back of the head at an Easter photo set at the mall at 4125 Cleveland Ave.
The incident began shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday when victim Erin Johansson was waiting in line with her family at a public Easter Bunny photo set near entrance G.
When the exhibit closed 10 minutes early, people in line, including Johansson, got upset and questioned manager Crystal Frechette, 25.
The two women got into an argument before Frechette allegedly punched Johannson in the right side of her face. Frechette then began pulling the Johansson's hair and the two fell to the ground, according to arrest reports.
That’s when McClure, who was still in the Easter Bunny costume, came to his wife’s aid. McClure took off the head part of the costume and punched Johannson in the head, police said.
Dozens of people watched the brawl, including many children who were still in line, witnesses said.
McClure and Frechette — both of 3840 Central Ave., No. 208 — were charged with misdemeanor battery and disturbing the peace, police said.
They were released from jail Sunday and have a May 2 county court hearing.

Lol!
There’s a promise I need you to make
While I’m gone you take care of the love
And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight

That's better than a drunken mall Santa any day.

She probably deserved it...besides, I'd get psychopathically annoyed if I had to stand in public in a bunny suit and be nice to kids.

Remember who you are, and where you came from. That way you never get a big head.
May those that lost their lives in 9-11 RIP, for the things you did not many could do. You left so many behind so that you could save so few. For now we stand strong as one, and will not look back till the fight is done. (me)
