HARRISBURG, Ill. A Harrisburg man who operated a portrait studio in his home for decades has been sentenced to 21 years in prison for sexually assaulting two girls ages 6 and 10.
Kermit Waldo Albin, 72, entered a guilty plea last week to two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and two counts of criminal sexual abuse. Under Illinois' sentencing laws, Albin must serve at least 85 percent of his time behind bars before he is eligible for parole on the most serious offense, a class X felony.
