A man seen running out of a department store with an armload of clothes Friday morning led law enforcement officers on a vehicle and foot chase before being arrested, the Ukiah Police Department reported.
UPD Sgt. Eric Baarts said the incident began around 11:30 a.m. when an off-duty Mendocino County sheriff's deputy saw a woman running out of the Ross department store on North Orchard Avenue. Soon after, the deputy saw a man in white shorts and no shirt running behind her with an armload of clothes and shoes.
He said the suspects then drove in a big circle on and off the freeway, entering on the southbound Hwy. 101 on-ramp and heading across the center divide to the northbound lanes and exiting onto State Street. The suspects then entered the highway once more, driving across the center divide again before abandoning the vehicle alongside the northbound lanes just south of an on-ramp.

Hmmm, lets just drive around in circles because we haven't figured out where we need to go when we are being chased by the Police. How about not breaking the law in the first place. Stupid Criminals.
