Masked men invade home, rob family
CHULA VISTA – Two men wearing ski masks and carrying a baseball bat barged into a home in the Eastlake area Monday and robbed a family as it was eating lunch.
The intruders threatened to hit the family with the bat, then doused a male resident and his parents with pepper spray.
The attack occurred about 12:30 p.m. at the house on Huntington Point Road near Rock Terrace Place.
The robbers took an undisclosed amount of money from an upstairs bedroom and ran, said Bernard Gonzales, a police spokesman here
