So a funny thing happened on the way to the home invasion...
Clown robbers botch up home invasion
A MAN dressed as a clown and his sidekick have mucked up botched home invasion by taking off after failing to get inside.
The pair attempted to enter the Lindisfarne Rd, Huntfield Heights, house yesterday about 5.25pm (CST) while the male resident, 40, was inside.
The first would-be invader was wearing a white tracksuit and a clown mask and his accomplice, who has a shaved head, was wearing a white hoodie with "data" written on it.

We had one happen a few days back where the guy broke in through the back door, saw the residents sitting on a sofa in the living room, apologized, and left without taking anything.
