Naked ex-guardsman, 72, chases off burglar
Um, ok.
A naked pensioner who had served in the Coldstream Guards chased off a burglar who burst into his bedroom.
Brave Reg Parfrey, 72, of Waterbeach Road, Landbeach, was sleeping off a hangover the morning after a party in his home.
At just before 11am, the former soldier was slumbering naked in his bedroom when a short, fat thief burst into his bedroom.
Mr Parfrey, who had served for 22 years in the guards and faced rioting in Malaysia, leapt out of bed and gave chase.
He said: “I sleep naked and as I was lying there I heard a door knob rattling and then this bloke burst into my room.
“I sat up in bed, he bolted down the stairs and I went after him. He was fast on his feet for a small, plump man. I couldn’t carry on chasing him because I was naked. I just had to stand at the window and watch him running off.”

for the cojones to sleep naked at 72? or the fact to jump up and chase off a burglar? or the binge drinking?
I mean it would be kinda obvious the guy wasn't armed... maybe a little scary... but not armed
