It's just too bad that our goverment is too spineless to acknowledge (and address) the problems there are a threat to American safety.

A few years back, my wife and I were at a popular tourist destination in Mexico. I noticed that about 1/2 of the cops didn't have guns in their holster. They all had full duty belts, and one had a sub-sandwich in his holster. I finally asked one of the cops, who spoke English, why he had a gun and his partner didn't. He answered, "Not enough guns! Come in early, you get a gun. Come in late, you don't get no gun!"
