A few years back, my wife and I were at a popular tourist destination in Mexico. I noticed that about 1/2 of the cops didn't have guns in their holster. They all had full duty belts, and one had a sub-sandwich in his holster. I finally asked one of the cops, who spoke English, why he had a gun and his partner didn't. He answered, "Not enough guns! Come in early, you get a gun. Come in late, you don't get no gun!"For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.
