School Trial Firearms Football
A school in an area recently subject to a shooting spree is giving this a go at talking about firearms and attitudes around the subject. It seems it was the idea of a police firearms officer.
BBC News - Cumbrian school among those piloting new gun toythe sole advantage of power is that you can do more good.

Sounds like a grown up idea where we can face up to things that kids will know about from other sources. The knowledge of firearms that the kids I deal with is from computer games and films scary what they do know but also scary what they don't.

I hope that somewhere on the ball is the phrase "responsible gun ownership and training". Good idea none the less.
