The 19-year-old Leeds man charged with murder in three Shelby County traffic deaths Friday night had two speeding tickets in the past seven months for driving at least 88 mph, court records show.

In May, Manley Ray Williams pleaded guilty to driving 94 mph in a 70 mph zone on Interstate 20 in Jefferson County in April, according to court records. Then in October, he pleaded guilty to driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone on Interstate 65 in Conecuh County in July.

On Friday night about 10:30 p.m., Williams was driving south on Shelby County 55 when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a van traveling east on U.S. 280 near Westover, according to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.

Jessica Wyatt Fields, 32, and sons, John Clay Fields, 8, and Tony Ray Fields, 9, died following the accident. Fields' 12-year-old daughter, Angelia, was flown to Children's Hospital, where a hospital spokeswoman said Monday she remains in serious condition.

Are you serious?!?! Pardon him? He's been caught twice before, and who knows how many times he gotten away with driving like a selfish dickhead. He's still alive, he gets to wake up every morning and breathe, regardless of being incarcerated. A family has lost a mother and two children.

As a husband and father to three kids, I say give me 5 minutes with him.
