Police find 3-foot live alligator during random license check at McDonalds
Video of gator removal: Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.comOfficers say that they found a live alligator in the back seat of a car pulled over following a random license check at the McDonalds restaurant at Troost and Meyer on Friday night. 22-year old Christoper Greening was wanted for a drug possession warrant and driving on a suspended license, but cops say that the gator found in his back seat was a super-size surprise.
"He said it was his alligator and like it was no big deal," said Sgt. Stacey Graves of the Kansas City Missouri Police Department. The three-foot alligator was taken to Monkey Island Sanctuary in Greenwood, Missouri.
Sanctuary owner Dana Savorelli says it's the fifth alligator he's taken in this year.

Most of us here have dealt with a 3 ft gator, in some fashion, at one time or another. It's the full size lizards that are the problem.
