Police Stripped of Tasers
PASCAGOULA — Mayor David Garcia has taken
Tasers out of the hands of Waveland's police
officers.
The Sun Herald reports the order issued to Chief
James Varnell by the newly elected mayor comes the
same week several lawsuits alleging Taser abuse by
officers were filed in U.S. District Court

I'm no lawyer (thank goodness) but it seems to me that this move would lend credence to any lawsuit involving the taser.

Wll that leaves only Talk, Hands, Baton/pepper spray, then BANG BANG. No shooting to wound, shoot the gun from his hand, NOPE, 1 to the head, 2 to the chest. With the Tazer he would live to walk to jail. Now a one-way ticket to hell

Excessive Taser use? Anytime we use our Tasers the public starts screaming excessive force. I guess most people would rather go to jail with cuts and black eyes than two little holes in them from the probes. Oh well.
