30 days in jail for driving a cop killer
A man accused of giving a ride to a friend who helped in the killing a Maplewood police officer has been sentenced to 30 days in jail. James Lentz, of St. Paul, had pleaded guilty to aiding an offender, a felony.
The 22-year-old was accused of picking up Joshua Martin, who was with Jason Jones when Jones fatally shot Maplewood police Sgt. Joseph Bergeron May 1.
