Warning over West Lindsey hoax 'homeless' letters

West Lindsey District Council has issued a warning over hoax letters sent to some residents claiming to be from the council's housing team.
The letters, which appear to be on council headed paper, say that residents' spare bedrooms will be used to house homeless people.
It also claims they will be paid and they need to collect the homeless people from Lincoln train station.
Anyone who receives a letter is asked to contact the council and police.
Rachel North, the council's director of strategy and regeneration, said: "We are extremely concerned letters claiming to be from the council are being circulated but we would like to reassure residents that this is a scam.

Now, if the letter comes with the White House letter head and signed by Obama or one of his flakes, I'd be scared to death and thinking (god forbid) about having some kids, fast (if I could).
