PITTSBURGH -- A Carrick man is in the Allegheny County Jail after police said he threatened his neighbor with a hatchet.
Channel 11 News has learned that police were called to an apartment along Claus Street Monday night.
Police said they were initially called to the home because of a loud music complaint, but when officers arrived the man wouldn't answer his door.
Investigators said before they left the scene, a neighbor came running out and said the man smashed his window with a hatchet and said, "I'm going to come in there and chop you up."
