A monday morning lunatic, disturbed from time to time. Temporary catatonic madman on occasion..
Lightning crashes a new mother cries, her placenta falls to the floor. The angel opens her eyes, the confusion sets in before the doctor can even close the door..

Welcome back to Earth, here, I'll flip you off so you know you landed on the right planet

I'm actually pretty curious about the camera rig that he left behind on the gondola. For the film to work it had to be kept warmish, yet the rig had to be light as possible, have an automated controlled decent along with a beacon all with radio and battery tech of the day. (which all worked since we saw the film) Like to see how that was engineered. Not to take anything away from the man jumping from the edge of space, but that was a feat in itself. Sure, now anyone can tie an iPhone on a balloon and use GPS to find it later, wasn't so easy then.

I jumped from 6,000 feet with a chute I packed in order to pass Navy Parachute Rigger school. I can not even imagine the stones it would take to jump from outer freaking space.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."

We used to do "hop-n-pops" from 3k. I know some military drop at 2k or less. With a round chute that's about 2 oscillations and yer pounding the earth, hard.I jumped from 6,000 feet with a chute I packed in order to pass Navy Parachute Rigger school. I can not even imagine the stones it would take to jump from outer freaking space.
I remember the 16k jump, the air was getting a tad thin. But the 1+ minute of freefall was awesome!
