Seven people were arrested Tuesday after they got behind the wheel moments after judges instructed them not to drive, authorities said.
From 8 a.m. to 12 noon, officers from Santa Rosa, Petaluma and the Sonoma County Auto Theft Task Force followed people with suspended or no licenses from courtrooms out to parking lots at the Sonoma County Superior Court in Santa Rosa.

How can anyone sue to stop LEO from enforcing the law and a judges orders? I dont understand what ground they can base this on.

We had one this morning, one of our downtown units, nabbed her.......under suspension and a warrant!!!!! Double bagger...........;-)

At my old department, there was one judge for whom this must have been a huge pet peeve.
He'd ask every driver going before him with suspended/revoked dl charges how they got to the courthouse that morning. If he didn't believe their reply, he'd order a deputy to follow them out of the building and make sure they left with someone else driving.The world would be much cleaner if blind people carried brooms instead of sticks.
