Police: Man took TV off Walmart shelf, collected money at returns counter

COLONIE -- He collected nearly $2,000 for a TV he never purchased, according to Colonie Police.
Philemon Ofosu, 23, of Watervliet, was arrested for taking a flat-screen TV off a Latham Farms Walmart shelf and bringing it to the returns counter.
Store security detained the man until police arrived.

We have these thefts at our Wal-Mart fairly often. Funny what people think they can get away with.
