Fabled SEAL Team 6 ends hunt for bin Laden...........
WASHINGTON -- Osama bin Laden's death in a ripped-from-a-spy-thriller helicopter raid and firefight gives a storied unit of U.S. special operations forces bragging rights for what has become the most famous covert operation since the Sept. 11 attacks launched on bin Laden's orders.
The unit, called Navy SEAL Team Six, probably won't claim the credit publicly, however.
U.S. officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, say units from SEAL Team Six dropped into bin Laden's high-walled compound in Pakistan early Monday morning, sliding down ropes in the pre-dawn dark. The military won't confirm which unit carried out the attack.

From Wikipedia:
"SEAL Team 6 was dissolved in 1987. The operators of SEAL Team Six established the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group, also known as DEVGRU. While DEVGRU is administratively supported by Naval Special Warfare Command, they are operationally under the command of the Joint Special Operations Command."
I do recall seeing that they said that DEVGRU carried out the mission, makes sense given the above. Maybe they're still referred to as Team 6 internally. Either way, these guys are most likely the top-shelf folks if they're segregated like that within the structure of such an elite group to begin with.
