Definition of irony
ONONDAGA, N.Y. (AP) — Police say a motorcyclist participating in a protest ride against helmet laws in upstate New York died after he flipped over the bike's handlebars and hit his head on the pavement.

The article states that the guy would likely have survived if he'd been wearing a helmet. I have some friends (who damn well should know better) that refuse to wear a helmet unless the law demands it. They say they'd rather die than be a quadriplegic. What none of the idiots seem to realize is that a helmet can mean the difference between brain damage or death and a concussion.\\` ` ` ` < ` )___/\

We have no mandatory law here for the operator of a motorcycle. It's interesting seeing so many people ride without them after years of being in a state where it's required. Personally, I haven't worked any organ donations yet but I figure it's just a matter of time.

We've had a few so far this summer, as well as one who would have been F-ed up royally but he WAS wearing a helmet and walked away from the crash.
I don't get it with those people who won't wear one.The world would be much cleaner if blind people carried brooms instead of sticks.
At communion, when the priest says "Body of Christ", I say "Thanks, I've been working out", then I grab the cracker and run back to my seat
