Police in Washington DC catch suspected murderer who skipped out of court
Washington D.C. police nabbed a man suspected of killing a U.S. veteran who escaped- possibly by switching court ID bracelets, NBC Washington reported.
Authorities told the Washington Post that 24-year-old James "Sticky" Brewer escaped from D.C. Superior Court on Friday.
The report cites sources who believe Brewer swapped ID bracelets with another suspect with a less serious offense and then skipped out of the court house.
He had been arrested in the death of Solomon Reese, a 71-year-old military vet who cops believe died in a robbery gone wrong, the Post reported.
