Man who posted criticisms of multiculturalism and Islam suspected of killing 92 in terrorist attack in NorwayThe Norwegian charged with killing at least 92 people in a gun and bomb massacre had belonged to an anti-immigration party and wrote blogs attacking multiculturalism and Islam. Police said Anders Behring Breivik, detained by police after 85 people were gunned down at a youth camp and another 7 killed in a bomb attack on Friday, was unknown to them and his Internet activity traced so far included no calls to violence.
In comments from 2009-2010 to other people's articles on website Document.no, which calls itself critical of Islam, Breivik criticized European policies of trying to accommodate the cultures of different ethnic groups.
"When did multiculturalism cease to be an ideology designed to deconstruct European culture, traditions, identity and nation-states?" said one his entries, posted on Feb. 2, 2010.
Another entry dated February 16 last year said: "According to two studies, 13% of young British Muslims aged between 15 and 25 support al Qaeda ideology."
Breivik wrote he was a backer of the "Vienna School of Thought," which was against multiculturalism and the spread of Islam.
May the dead rest in peace. Hope the injured recover quickly.

I have a friend in Finland that says they are sure that there were at least two shooters on the island. She said that the entire issue for these attackers was that they were opposed to the policies of the Labour Party and accused them of "terrorism" against the Conservative Party.
I believe that the person they have in custody will probably be found insane, but there has to be someone behind this that used this guy as a guided weapon, gave him the idea (and possibly means to do so), and sent him on his way.
I am praying for all of the families and loved ones that have lost someone in this unthinkable tragedy.Remembering Officer Richard Phelps, Lemoyne (PA) PD, EOW- 7/11/89

Kai - could it end up working to keep him locked up in a psychiatric facility indefinitely instead of the max 21 years of prison?
Admittedly, it's a hell of a stretch to look for a silver lining in this cloud.

Well, the trial is more or less over after almost ten weeks.
They are in doubt whether or not he was insane at the time of the killing, and err on the side of safety and ask for a mental committal rather than prison.Alpha Phi Sigma Alum - Alpha Delta Chapter
