Largest Colorado quake since 1967No injuries have been reported after an earthquake shook people awake in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico.
The National Earthquake Information Center in Golden, Colo., says it's the strongest earthquake to hit the state in more than 40 years.
The magnitude 5.3 quake hit at 11:46 p.m. MDT Monday about nine miles southwest of Trinidad, or 180 miles south of Denver. Aftershocks continued Tuesday,
