Crowd lifts burning car off trapped motorcyclistUtah college student Brandon Wright thanked the men and women who lifted the flaming car he was trapped under and pulled him to safety Monday after he was hit while riding his motorcyle.Wright was hit by a BMW while riding his motorcycle on his way to Utah State University's campus Monday. He was thrown under the car, which caught fire when the motorcycle’s gas line was severed. In the face of great danger, about a dozen bystanders stepped in to lift the car and pull Wright to safety.

A superb bit of teamwork there.A common mistake made when trying to come up with a totally foolproof design is to completely underestimate the innate ingenuity of fools.

What the news left out was a few minutes later they found out the Beemer driver was accident attorney. So, to avoid being sued...

LOL. I give them credit for getting the guy out, but they left him close enough to just burn more slowly.
