Sentencing the five, Judge Mark Brown said their case "highlighted the scourge of gun crime... which permeates some parts of Liverpool".
Bradley Beveridge, 18, Declan Kilbride, 16, Declan Culshaw, 15, Dylan Currie, 14, and Jobe Kilbride, 13, all admitted armed robbery.
Their sentences at the city's crown court ranged from four to nine years.
In one raid at an All In One convenience store in Norris Green, Liverpool, Beveridge threatened a shopkeeper with a sawn-off shotgun while Jobe Kilbride vaulted the counter to steal from the till.
