White House hit by bullet
House shrugs it off as a mere flesh wound as compared to 1814, current occupants and staff more concerned.
Secret Service says bullet hit White House
The Secret Service says a bullet hit an exterior window of the White House and was stopped by ballistic glass.
U.S. Park Police have an arrest warrant out for Oscar Ortega-Hernandez, who is believed to be connected to the earlier incident. He is described as a 21-year-old Hispanic man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 160 pounds, with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.

Problem is, how long before the Gun Control ban flag gets waved? I give it less than a week. Doesn't mean it will pass or get significant interest but if you take this and Gabby Giffords from this week, the antis have a solid selling point.

What gets me is you think they would have noticed a bulllet hole in the window shortly after it happened. If it did take place on Friday why did it take so long to notice? IF not how did you miss it happening in the first place?
