A man who was shot and killed Thursday while breaking into a Covelo home has been identified as Pablo Solorio Nunez, 22, of Mexico.
Mendocino County Sheriff’s authorities believe he and another man were seeking marijuana when they smashed a glass door and entered the home of Joey Long, 22, in the county’s northeastern corner.
Deputies found an estimated 100 pounds of processed marijuana at the home.

I laugh at the argument that legalizing medical marijuana doesn't cause the crime rate to go up. That's bullsh!t. I can't think of a medical marijuana store that has not been burglarized or robbed. And it almost seems like we daily have an armed robbery where the suspects relieve a card holder of their "medicine"
