Trooper tases a drunk 'Darth Vader'
The force abandoned Darth Vader when he challenged a Florida Highway Patrol trooper this morning.
The man behind the mask, 28-year-old Michael Eugene Cole, was intoxicated and walking near a construction site at about 2:45 a.m. at Summerlin Avenue and Anderson Street where a trooper was on patrol, according to FHP spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Montes.
The trooper asked Cole to leave. Instead, he swore loudly and laid down on the road, she said.
Cole tried to punch and kick the trooper but the law-enforcement officer was prepared with a stun gun.
